With the New Year comes new trends and it has never been easier to GO GREEN. According to the 2103 Hanleywood Survey, the projected growth of home remodeling sales are expected to increase 10% in 2014. Stating that remodels will include more sustainable, renewable materials such as bamboo, for a more energy-efficient home.
Of all the “green” materials on the market, two are making an astonishing comeback. Meaning, they have always been players in the energy saving game, but are catching up to remain top choices in 2014. One of these is reclaimed wood which is used for doors and hardwood flooring, mixing “new wood flooring with Old World styling.”
